sueanne - If you are talking about what Webb proposed at the 3-Seas site, it was approved and Webb back-burnered the project. What does Burnett have to do with it?

"How many times have the Webbs been turned down trying to develop the lake front property where a half torn down structure (eye sore) sits by mayvilles board members who don't like the Webb family. Small town politics by small people."
Not one time that I can remember. Their last proposed project was approved and never moved forward - destination hotel near the Chautauqua Belle.

Mayville has great potential because of the 150,000 visitors that attend Chautauqua Institution summer season programming--they also have off season programming which includes Road Scholar/elderhostel. Making Mayville more physically attractive and adding some educational and recreational activities would be welcomed.

Doesn't Joe Gerace and his Jail and court "draw them in" too? What about all the Jail and Court visitors? Can't you set up tourist traps to keep them coming back? Oh yeah, Joe already does a lot of that.
