Plan was clearly written with a "Us vs Them" town towards village. When will Busti Town officials realize that Lakewood residents vote in town elections too. Sure Village only makes up 3 sq miles of town, but it contributes the lions share of revenue to town and pays for the lions share of services.

Wow! Just read the plan cover to cover and it is very apparent that it was written with a overly positive slant towards a rural Busti and a clear disdain torward the Village of Lakewood as the ugly Stepsister. Note that there was not one photo of Lakewood in plan. Forget the importance of he fact that lakewood has not seen a population decease, but rather a change from full time residents to part time expensive vacation home owners only here and using public sevices 3 months a year and no school services. Does not mention anything about property taxes and where the bulk of propery taxes to town come from, or the bulk of sales taxes, or who pays for the LBPD. Left all town budget and revenue informaion out of picture. Maybe if Busti egnores Lakewood enough it will jus go away?

just a booming region, lots of high tech growth, jobs. they sure need a comprehensive plan.
