I for one am glad the PJ keeps publishing letters from this beacon of clear thinking Hal Elliot (or is he Norm Carlson? or perhaps. the distinguished and most Reverend "Mel"..wtf? are all employees of the PJ on acid?

The post journal needs to stop printing these commentaries without a real name and address. Otherwise these articles have no credibility. Separate rules serve no purpose other than bias.
