Perhaps Jamestown Could use the newly remodeled station as a tourist attraction and offer train rides like they do at Arcade and Attica.

Kudos to Lee Harkness, he's hit the ground running in his new position at the Gateway. I'm sure he will be as big an asset there as he was at the old DJDC. We're fortunate to have dedicated, community-minded citizens like him.

I have no problem someone wanting to save this place but it should have done with PRIVATE want to save it, then raise the freakin $$$$ yourself. Personally, if it isn't going to be used as a train station then get rid of it. Don't we have enough empty places in Jamestown without spending 16 million of our money on more? And Aaron, little chucky schumer can kiss it! Waste of good air when he opens his mouth.

Wasn't it wonderful how the $16 million dollar cost to Taxpayers was totally ignored just so the Gateway Train Station could participate in National Train Day along with Jerry Brown's loser in California. Barry Obama must be quite proud of that further waste of tax monies!

"The original construction of the Jamestown Gateway Train Station was completed in 1932, by the Erie Railroad, as an elegant structure supporting the importance of railroads. The last passenger train left the Jamestown Station in 1970, letting it fall into disrepair until renovations started in May of 2010. Renovations were completed with a ribbon cutting in October of 2013."

We can assume that our senior Senator little Chucky Schumer will be there since there will be an open microphone and we all appreciate him and microphones, don't we fans!
