I mean really, if Jesus actually existed the way christian's depict him, then the only miracle he performed was managing to be a white guy in the middle east.

They say the pope is resigning due to 'advanced age', and they are exactly right. We live in an age that has advanced beyond the need for a 'pope'.

I didn't know you could retire from a God appointed position. I thought if God called you to do the job he would keep you healthy enough to do the job. This totally confuses me.

This stinks! I remember reading when Peter quit as well. Something about being crucified if I am not correct. The contract between Jesus and Peter(man) seems to include an out clause for the pontiffs...
