Davis is another romanticised character likek the dirt bag who killed a cop in Philly and the locals want to name a street after him. Davis' case was appealed over and over, there was no evidence to support his claim, the alleged recantations are a public relations media ploy. He also killed another man and it was never even argued. Davis said he didn't "personally" kill the cop. Just another Al Sharpton dream, not King's. The article didn't mention your claims of even coverage. Not likely I will know, because I refuse to go to professional race baiting lectures.

People who were at the actual presentation will remember that Ms. Marlowe spoke about the children and other Israeli people who are victims of violence, and condemned the use of violence on both sides. In addition, many national and international organizations condemned the use of the death penalty in the Troy Davis case. There was no physical evidence linking him to the crime of which he was accused, and 7 out of the 9 supposed eyewitnesses recanted their testimonies, saying they had been coerced. Regardless, I find it sad when people don't bother to attend and event (at which the public was encouraged to participate in the dialogue), but then criticize it.

I bet they never have a visit from someone who represents the murdered Israeli children or the victims of Davis. JCC tries to emulate the larger more famous brain washing academic halls... feeble attempt.
