Well let's hope the haphazard "I hear" announcement of the shop staying open was not premature. Why isn't the county just "up front" with the people in Sherman with making a timly formal announcement? Is there dissention with the county? Shermanites should keep a watchful eye on this subject going forward. As Yogi Berra said...."It ain't over 'till its over."

Everyone is hearing the same thing. Personnel are interviewing so it is time for Mr. Edwards to make a formal statement whether the shop will remain open. Everyone would like to know what the future plans are. Don’t keep the employees and business owners out of the loop. This is their lives and livelihood.

Put up a parking garage and bring in a Hooter's, Sherman will be booming! And if people would use some sense parking, not using 2 spaces per vehicle, there would be enough parking.
