yes, definitely a good thing, seadog, and a wonderful straw man [you love those] since I'm an advocate of gun ownership, especially in the police force.

Who is this god that people believe in that allows a child to go through this ordeal for a week, just to finally say "okay, since you prayed nicely, i'll let him go"???
Anyway, very glad the boy got out safe. Lets hope he's able to recover mentally, and has a strong support group of teachers, counselors, and family.
