Warren Post 135 locked horns with Youngsville Post 658 in a doubleheader Wednesday, playing a scheduled game and finishing a rain delay from June 2. Post 135 came away winners in both, beating Youngsville, 7-6, in the opener, then 9-4 to finish up the rain delayed game. Post 135 overcame a 2-0 deficit in the opener. Adam Paden homered in the bottom of the first off of Tyler Leichtenberger to give Youngsville the lead. Leichtenberger pitched for 2 2/3 innings before taking a line drive by Paden in the knee. He left the game with Post 135 holding a 5-2 lead. Conner English took over in relief, gave up three runs in the third, but held on for the win.
