Three Pa. College Students Killed in Crash
EDINBORO, Pa. — Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a head-on crash killed three Edinboro University students Wednesday evening. State police reported that around 5:18 p.m., a car tried to pass another vehicle at the crest of a hill and hit an oncoming car head-on. Police say the crash killed 18-year-old Domenico Crea, of Erie; 18-year-old John Eyrolles, of Pittsburgh; and 21-year-old Sheldon Harmon, of Bolivar, N.Y. Crea was driving the 1992 Honda Prelude that attempted the pass and Eyrolles was his passenger. Neither was wearing a seat belt, police said. Harmon was the driver of the 2004 Dodge Intrepid and was wearing a seat belt. Edinboro, a state-owned university, is located about 15 miles south of Erie.
