SINCLAIRVILLE — John and Lucile Marsh of Sinclairville were recently honored for their many years of service to the Sinclairville 76ers Meals on Wheels program. The Sinclairville 76ers were organized in 1976 and so named the 76ers. Meals are prepared in the Sinclairville Firehall kitchen and delivered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by volunteers in three different vans on three different routes. The routes extend to Cherry Creek, Conewango Valley, Ellington, Cassadaga, Gerry, Stockton and Sinclairville. ‘‘John Marsh has been a volunteer driver for 20 years for the 76ers. John would deliver meals three days a week, and knew his route very well. His dedication to the 76ers is very much appreciated. Lucile Marsh has served as the luncheon site manager,’’ notes a press release. For those who wish, the same meal is served on the same days of the week as the deliveries in the firehall dining room. Lucile has been the site manager for more than 11 years.
