Cuttin’, Clippin’ & Cashin’ In!!

Hi Readers!!

Do you love saving money? Are you an extreme coupon shopper?

This blog is designated for those of us who love to shop for bargains and great deals. The focus here will be- how and where to find the best deals in our area, and what coupons are running in our paper that will give you greater savings or even freebie items.

Let me and our readers know of how well you’ve done- share great deals you’ve come across, bargain hunting secrets and your success stories here with others by posting to this blog.

I’ve even been given the go ahead to offer a monthly “Extreme Savers” contest for our readers to win prizes. So share your success stories with me on here and watch for an upcoming post on how to enter the contests. Maybe you’ll win $$ to help with future shopping trips. Our first contest will start September 1st.

Don’t forget to look in your Sunday Post-Journal for great money saving coupons- this week totaling $87.25. If you’re not a subscriber or want additional copies, The Post-Journal is available for only $1.50 on Sundays at various retailers and machines around the area.

Till I post again- I’ll be Cuttin’, Clippin’ and Cashin’ in on my savings this week.

Aldi's is fine, except they carry very little of what my family needs. For us, it's usually not worth the extra stop.

You can skip dealing with coupons and just shop at Aldi's.

Let's see, this blog started in August and has a reader post in August and September. Must be extreme couponing isn't so hot. My take, the average shoppers grocery list might net a couple bucks savings with coupons - that's it. Now if you want to take a bunch of coupons and go out and buy a bunch of products you don't need or use, you can probably reduce your total -- but you are getting stuff you don't need! It's like the cable company trying to get me to upgrade my package to "save" money. How is spending more than I was "saving?"

I just became a huge believer! I'm 2 months into extreme couponing and with coupons I save between 50-105 dollars for my big trips. With a family of 8 I really need to get down and dirty (even if I get dirty looks from the cashier and customers behind me waiting for my many coupons to be scanned)

So I'm wondering how all of you Extreme coupon people save so much money. Where do I get all of the coupons and savings? I need to learn how to do this.
