Looks Like a Wednesday

By all accounts, it looks as if the rumors are true. Apple should be releasing Lion in the next two days. It should be released either tomorrow, Wednesday, or the next. Reports of stores getting drives with Lion installed and promotional materials, posters and such, is a good indication that Lion is ready to roar.

This just leaves when the new hardware will show up. It's quite possible that a new mini, MacBook Air, or Mac Pro tower could also be right around the corner.

Apple will be releasing Q3 2011 financial results later today. This is the likely reason that Lion will not be available today, which is a Tuesday. Tuesdays have, in the past, been the day of the week that Apple and others release new titles.

So don't be surprised if Lion arrives tomorrow. I'm just hoping that new hardware arrives later this week. Or maybe next Tuesday?
