Cassadaga Cemetery Association 2017 Fund Drive Success

To The Reader’s Forum:

The Cassadaga Cemetery Association would like to thank everyone who makes the operation of the cemetery possible. Without your help physically and financially the cemetery would not be able to continue functioning and would have to be turned over to the town of Stockton.

Special thanks to all who helped make the 2017 fund drive a success, including the village of Cassadaga. Thanks to retiring members John and Susan Sipos for their many years of hard work and service to the Cassadaga Cemetery Association, especially with the success of the 2017 fund drive. Because of the fund drive we were able to purchase a new zero-turn mower from Monte’s Small Engine. Thanks to Glen and his staff for their help in purchasing the right machine for our needs.

We would also like to welcome new board members Florence Christy and Tom and Cheryl MacKinder. Thanks also to Sue Penhollow for all of her hard work.

Section E of the cemetery was able to be mapped, pinned and roadways marked correctly thanks to the efforts of Chuck Battaglia, Dan Thorp and other volunteers.

Thanks again to all who make the operations of the cemetery a success, including our groundskeeper, Jed Walters.
