Downtown Parking Fine The Way It Is
To The Reader’s Forum:
Lander’s Men’s Store says leave the parking alone. The people on the city’s parking advisory board must see congestion and parking confusion that we have not seen. We have been on Main Street for over 40 years and like the parking the way it is.
If they had a committee why wasn’t anyone on Main Street asked to attend? It appears to be a change that benefits a few at the cost of many, or the city is looking for more revenue.
We have owned Lander’s Men’s Store for many years. Our customers like the parking the way it is. There is nothing worse for customers than having to pay parking meters. They will just go to shop somewhere else where the parking is easier and free.
