JRC Board Bids Farewell To Executive Director
To The Reader’s Forum:
The Jamestown Renaissance Board of Directors sends the best of all good wishes to our departing Executive Director Greg Lindquist as he relocates and assumes a new job in Stamford, Conn.
Greg has played a key role in the successes of JRC in the years that he has worked in our organization. He has experience and expertise in economic and business development making it possible to creatively put projects together with funding from various sources, in order to redevelop and renovate unoccupied buildings for new tenants and new uses. He has skillfully garnered private dollars, with state and other grants, to build and better our community. His banking and financial acumen has helped promote various initiatives that have come to fruition because of his specific knowledge and experience. He has helped build the JRC into a respected and well-known private-public partnership. Greg has also been a willing partner and helper to several other community-building organizations, willingly sharing his talents and know-how.
Greg Lindquist has worked extremely hard in his executive director position and both JRC and our community are losing a ”faithful and loyal servant.” We wish him much good luck in his move and in his new position in Connecticut, and thank him many times over for his dedication, commitment and numerous successes at JRC and in the greater Jamestown community. We will all miss him.
