Jacqueline “Janis” Johnson

Jacqueline “Janis” Johnson, 79, of Jamestown, formerly of Fisher Hill Road of Kennedy, passed away Saturday (Aug, 25, 2018) in the Lutheran Home.

She was born July 25, 1939, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Victor and Alice Bartoszewicz Kaspryzyk.

Prior to retirement, she was employed Cummins Engine in Lakewood. She enjoyed line dancing, ceramics and going to the casino. Jacqueline loved listening to Elvis Presley music and watching old black and white movies.

Surviving are four sons: John (Debbie) Johnson of Kennedy, N.Y., Mark (Casey) Johnson and Brian Johnson. both of Weatherford, Texas, and Brett Johnson of Kennedy, N.Y; several grandchildren; step grandchildren, great-grand- children and step great- grandchildren; a sister, Joyce (Robert) Rothleder of Kennedy, N.Y. and several nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Kaspryzyk on March 8, 1977; and her mother, Alice Kaspryzyk on April 8, 2000.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Gordon Robbins of First Baptist Church of Falconer will officiate. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery, Clarks Corners.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home.
