Johnny Frank Leon Williams

Johnny Frank Leon Williams, passed away May 10, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y., surrounded by his children. He was born May 11, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Frank and Elizabeth Williams.

Johnny was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam Conflict. After the service, he worked as a welder in various factories in the Jamestown and Buffalo area.

He is survived by six cildren: Kita and Maurice of Cleveland, Ohio, Montrel of Chattanooga, Tenn., Johnny Frank Jr., Correy and Shanikqwa Williams, all of Buffalo, N.Y. He is further survived by his good friend and caregiver, Joyce Bess of Jamestown, N.Y., and Ruth Colbert of Buffalo, with whom he made his home; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 6 p.m., in the Thomas Edwards Funeral Home, 905 Genesee St., Buffalo, N.Y. Viewing will be at 5 p.m.
