Charlotte L. Johnson Forsberg

Charlotte L. Johnson Forsberg, 89, of Warsaw, formerly of Gainesville, passed away at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility on March 4, 2018.

Charlotte was born May 24, 1928. in Genesee Falls, N.Y., the daughter of the late Floyd and Alma Youngs Johnson. Charlotte was a homemaker with an excellent green thumb.

She attended the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church in Warsaw and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Warsaw as well. Charlotte enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting and gardening. She liked playing euchre and penuckle and also enjoyed doing crafts, canning, sewing, quilting and bead- work.

Charlotte is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Forsberg, who passed away in 2007. She’s also predeceased by daughters: Sharon (and the late William) Frisbie and Jeannine Walsh; brother, John Johnson; sisters: Mildred Bartof, Helen (George) Wheeler, Emmy (and the late Jay) West; grandson, Gerald Robert Walsh; great-grandsons: Everett E. Conant IV, Charles Conant, and Joseph R. Conant.

Charlotte is survived by a son, Ervin Forsberg of Warsaw; daughter, Lynn Rae (Gene) Hulbert of Warsaw; brother, Frederick (Yoko) Johnson of Japan; sister-in-law, Lisa Johnson of Hermitage; grandchildren: Matthew Forsberg, Toupoc Allen, Gene Hulbert Jr., Sarah Hulbert, Cristina Forsberg, Suzette Conant and Donald Hagan; Godchild, LynnAyne Herbert; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 8 from 5-7 p.m., at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home Inc., 246 North Main St., Warsaw. Charlotte’s funeral service will be held on Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m., at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home with a burial at Warsaw Cemetery immediately following.
