Richard Allan “Baldy” Walker
Richard Allan “Baldy” Walker, 66, of Sinclairville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at home, surrounded by his family after fighting his battle against cancer.
He was born April 23, 1951, in Kittanning, Pa., a son of the late Joseph G. and Doris Mae Miller Walker.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict serving with the U.S. Army from 1969-71.
Richard was employed as a mason for many contractors throughout Western New York and Pennsylvania, most recently, Crown Hill Stone, Westfield.
He was a member of Cassadaga Memorial American Legion Post 1280.
Richard enjoyed NASCAR, football and was a Dallas Cowboys fan, working on and restoring vehicles, mastering bondo and primer, jeeps and playing with fireworks. His pride and joy was his family, especially the grandchildren.
Husband of SueAnn Kilbury-Walker, whom he was with for 28 years and married Aug. 20, 2008; father of Lynn Allan Blake of Butler, Pa., Turney “Chipper” (Jennifer) Walker and Mandy Hileman, all of Kittanning, Pa., Brandy (Michael) Cochrane of Westfield, Chelsea (Paul Graham) of Stockton, Kenny of Ellington and Zack Kilbury of Sinclairville; grandfather of Hayley, Cole, Gage, Morgan, Hailey, Sadie, Michael, Ayiana and Kailiah; brother of the late Robert and Gary Walker. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Stockton with military honors provided by Cassadaga Memorial American Legion Post 1280.
