Reginald D. Olson

Reginald D. Olson, formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., Bradenton, Fla., and Nashville, Tenn., passed away on Jan. 29, 2018, in St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. He was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Randolph, N.Y., to Arthur E. And Freda Patterson Olson. He was a 1948 graduate of Falconer, N.Y., High School and was employed as a salesman for Westburgh Electric for 25 years and previously for DeBell Vending.

Reggie married Dorothy Johnson on Nov. 25, 1950, in Jamestown, N.Y., who survives him. Other survivors include: two daughters: Sharon (Ron) Johnson, Scandia, Pa., and Shelley Darling of Nashville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Janice Moran and Sue Waterman; and eight nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger (Beady) Olson.

A private memorial service was held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
