Norman D. Crow
Norman D. Crow, 81, of 32 Newton Ave., passed away Sunday (Feb. 4, 2018) at UPMC ChauHtauqua WCA.
He was born Nov. 10, 1936, in Jamestown, the son of Dale and Lillian Adams Crow.
Norm had been employed at the former NCR Corp. and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He loved the Lord, enjoyed bible study at the Judson Community Baptist Church in Longview, Texas, singing, wood working, motorcycling, fishing and traveling.
Norm is survived by four children: Tina (Patrick) Hodges and Kimberly (Stephen) Cofer of Gerry, Elizabeth (Steven) Gehret of Jamestown and Jennifer (Paul) Baker of Sinclairville; daughters of the heart: Laura Howard of Salamanca and Michelle Waldow of Texas; 12 grandchildren: Billy, Timmy, and Amanda Hodges, Matthew Gehret, Chris (Andrea) Baker, Ryan Baker, Eric Showalter, Jacque (Floyd) Confere, Katie, Maddie and Lainy Cofer: 12 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Kay A. Crow who was the only woman he ever loved and married in 1960; a grandson, Reese Baker; and a sister, Phyllis Coons.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at the Church of the Nazarene, 405 Howard Ave.. WE, Jamestown, N.Y., where all anecdotal stories are welcome.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Judson Community Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 419, Judson, Texas 75660.
The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg is in charge of arrangements.
