Hazel G. Intihar
Hazel G. Intihar, 94, of the Lutheran Retirement Home, formerly of 25 Cherry St., Frewsburg, passed away Saturday (Feb. 10, 2018) at the home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Onoville, the daughter of John and Josephine Johnson Burch.
She had attended Randolph Central School.
In later years she had been employed by the Town of Carroll.
She had attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in Frewsburg, was a member of the Carroll Senior Citizens, Carroll Manor ll Assn., former member of the Frewsburg Cemetery Assn., and was an Avid Yankees fan.
Hazel is survived by her children: Veronica (Jack) Holsinger of Frewsburg, Victoria Clark of Kokomo, Ind., Diane Miller of Jamestown, and Jamie (Joan) Intihar of Sinclairville; four grandchildren: Jeffrey (Sondra) Holsinger, Jon (Colleen) Holsinger, James (Patricia) Holsinger of Frewsburg and Daniel (Paige) Anderson of Jamestown; six step-grandchil dren: Amanda Lawton of Sinclairville, Thomas Lawton of Mooresville, N.C., Timothy Lawton of Indianapolis, Ind., Marcy Clark of Jamestown, Brett (Darla) Miller of Warren, Pa., and Holly (Justin) Maynard of Va.; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grand children.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel R. Intihar; three brothers, Carl, Floyd and Paul Burch; a sister, Vivian Johnson; and her sons-in-law, Bernie Clark and Willis Miller.
The family wishes to thank the caring and kind hearted staff at Lutheran. She enjoyed telling them jokes and humorous stories to keep them laughing.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
No visitation will be observed.
