David W. Brown
MARIENVILLE, Pa. — David W. Brown, 56, of Green Street, Randolph, passed away Thursday (Feb. 22, 2018) at the Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville, Pa.
David was born Sept. 30, 1961, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of Thelma (Case) Carr of West Valley and the late Frank Robert Brown.
He attended Randolph Central School and had worked Callahan Logging in Randolph and he was a former Drilling and Derek Hand for Natural Gas and Oil Companies. David enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by two sons: David Brown Jr. of Salamanca, and Westley Brown of Randolph; a granddaughter, Peightynn Brown; four siblings: Gary P. Brown and wife Lisa, Bruce Brown and wife Betty, all of Randolph, Brian Carr and Sarah Carr, both of West Valley; and two step-brothers: Steven and Robert Carr, as well as several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded by his father, Frank, and a brother, Robert Brown.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday (March 6, 2018) in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. Inurnment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Ellington.
