Margaret M. “Peggy” Anderson
Margaret M. “Peggy” Anderson, 72, of Ivory Road, Frewsburg, passed away Saturday (Dec. 2, 2017) at her home.
She was born July 6, 1945, in Buckeye, Ariz., the daughter of Nelson and Pauline Gibbs Hagberg.
In her younger years, Peggy had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at WCA Hospital and enjoyed being a stay at home mom.
She was a member of the Ivory Cemetery Society and the Ivory Baptist Church, where she was involved with the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday school for 34 years.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 47 years, George Anderson Jr.; three children: Laverne Anderson, Douglas Anderson and Hannah (Brian) Hayes of Frewsburg; six grandchil-dren: Jacob and Jordyn Anderson and Peyton, Ian Anderson, and Sullivan Hayes; two brothers: Richard Hagberg of Jamestown and Dr. Eric Hagberg of Arizona; and a sister, Marylou Bratt of Wisconsin.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, George Anderson lll.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Pastor Ronald Lemon will officiate. Burial will be in Ivory Cemetery, Frewsburg.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home.
