Terrance L. Mattocks
Terrance L. Mattocks, 74, of 9 Falconer St., Frewsburg, passed away Monday (Nov. 13, 2017) at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
He was born Sept. 23, 1943, in Jamestown, the son of Julian and Ruth Kahle Mattocks.
Terry was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He had owned and operated the former Barones Meat Market and had been employed at the former Sprinchorn and Vac Air.
Terry was a member of the Frewsburg American Legion Post 556 and a former member of the Carroll Rod and Gun.
He liked making Italian sausage and in earlier years enjoyed hunting and trapping.
Terry loved his friends and his town. He enjoyed doing things for them, especially cooking.
Terry is survived by his wife, Susan Hutchinson Mattocks; a son, Christopher Mattocks of Mexico; three grandchildren: a sister, Julia (Dr. Daniel) Wistran of Salem, Mass.; special friends, Steve and Heidi Reale; and was Bamps to Samantha and Ava Reale.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a son, David Ostrander.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Peterson Funeral Home in Frewsburg.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home.
