Sammuel Spano

Sammuel Spano, 33, of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Falconer, N.Y., passed away suddenly of heart disease.

Sammy was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin. His family adored him for his kindness, gentle nature, warmth, laughter and drive to do right by those around him. Sammy had an infectious smile that made those around him feel the love and goodness of the world. His mother will miss her private and special talks with Sammy about love and life and deeply misses his presence in her life today. His brother will miss him as his best friend and confident. Sammy will always be in their hearts and watching over them in a very special way to help them find peace in the days ahead.

Sammy was a manager and chef at Baywatch Towers in Myrtle Beach for 10 years and loved by his staff, coworkers and friends their. Working in the restaurant was Sammy’s passion and he served as a mentor to many with this excitement for the industry. He will be greatly missed by his work famiy.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, whom he affectionately called Nanu, Samuel “Blackie” Conti. Sammy is survived by his loving mother, Rosella Limberg and stepfather, Greg Limberg; his father, Joseph Spano; brother, Matthew Benson; stepbrother, Scott (Megan) Limberg; his Nana and biggest fan, Jospehine Conti; his grandparents: Connie and Chip Spano; his special friend, Heather Dvorsek; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles that hold him in their hearts with love.

A celebration of life will be held from noon -2 p.m., on Oct. 28, 2017, at Our Lady of Loretto School Hall, Falconer, N.Y.
