Dorothy May Woodward (nee Sharpe)
Dorothy May Woodward (nee Sharpe), 81, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away Oct. 11, 2017, following an extended illness.
Dorothy was born in Peterborough, England, on Dec. 16, 1935, to the late Ted and Emily Sharpe.
She was a beloved wife, mother and nana. She was the owner of Bulrush Antiques until her retirement and was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dr. Trevor Woodward; children: Susan (Jim) Demaske of Cleveland, Robert (Allison) Woodward of Maryland and Wendy (Rob) Swanson of Uniontown; grandchildren: Sarah, Trevor, Dustin, Jocelyne, Devin, Jackson, Mason, Peyton, Grayson, Jessica, Casey and Live; five great-grandchildren; brother, Keith (Gillian) Sharpe of England; nephew Paul Sharpe of England; and sister-in-law, Judith Woodward.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church 4600 Fulton Drive, Canton, Ohio 44718, with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Roth and Rev. Herbert Garnes III officiating.
