Donald Bowen, 64, of North East, Pa., formerly of Lakewood, N.Y., Eden, N.Y., and Dawsonville, Ga., died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. at his residence.
He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on Jan. 21, 1953, to the late Clarence and Patricia Brown Bowen.
Donald was a cherished husband of 39 years to his wife, Michele Olszewski Bowen, whom he married Aug. 12, 1978; loving father to Cory Bowen (Amanda) of Glenwood, N.Y., Nicholas Bowen of Dawsonville, Ga., Cassandra Bowen of North Boston, N.Y., and Aaron Bowen (Katy) of Dawsonville, Ga.; devoted papa to Lucas, Skylar, Caleb, Cole, Elin, Noah and Cora Bowen; brother, Richard Bowen (Pam) of Daytona Beach, Fla.; sister, Patricia Brown (Jeff) of Clarence, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews and a large spiritual family of brothers and sisters.
A memorial service celebrating Don’s life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1100 Cain Road, Angola, N.Y., on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. The family will be present at noon to receive friends and family.
