Linda Ruth (Rohrbach) Sommers Sonon Radicella
Linda Ruth (Rohrbach) Sommers Sonon Radicella, of Sherman, N.Y., formerly of Fleetwood, passed away at The Highlands on April 18, 2017.
She was the wife of Samuel D. Radicella. They were married on Nov. 13, 2010, celebrating six years of marriage.
Born Oct. 29, 1950, she was the daughter of Evelyn Dolores Rohrbach and the late John Morris Rohrbach.
Linda was a 1968 graduate of Oley Valley High School.
She was a co-owner of Penn Lyn Photographic Labs.
Linda was a long time member of Spring Valley Church of God before moving to New York, and then attended Praise Cathedral Church of God, North East, Pa.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her five children: Sean P., husband of Patricia J. Sonon, Oley, Kelly L., wife of Aaron D. Achenbach, Reading, LCDR Albert T. IV, husband of Tamara T. Sonon, Mechanicsburg, Rebecca L., wife of Nicholas R. Readinger, Reading, and Andrew T. Sonon, Reading; and four stepchildren: Sheila M., wife of Gregory Stark, Tampa, Fla.; Nathan T., husband of Shari Radicella, North East, Pa., Shanti M., wife of Stephen (Kyle) Hinson, Reading, and Nicole S., wife of James Kestler, Lakewood, N.Y.
Also surviving are her sisters: Cynthia M., wife of Otto Schanzenbach, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Dorene D., wife of Edwin S. Tallman, Fleetwood; sister-in-law, Susan Short, Pottstown; seven grandchildren: Lukas and Dylan Sonon, Kurt Achenbach, Albert V. and Joseph Sonon, and Blake and Bryson Readinger; and 12 step grandchildren: Makayla, Anthony and Michael Stark, Abigayle, Aiden, Allen and Emma Radicella, Micah and Josiah Hinson; Hunter, Jackson and Isabella Kestler.
Linda was predeceased by her first husband, Philip L. Sommers; and her second husband, Albert T. Sonon III.
A viewing will be held Saturday, April 22, from 2-4 p.m., in the Stitzel Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley. A second viewing will be held Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., at Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Temple. Service will follow at 4 p.m.Burial will be Monday, April 24 at 10 a.m., in Spies Zion Cemetery.
