Sebastian “Seb” F. Pischera
Sebastian “Seb” F. Pischera, 60, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 16, 2017.
A memorial service in his honor will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at the Cardwell Baggett and Summers Funeral Home in South Daytona, Fla.
Seb was born in Jamestown, N.Y., to Frank Pischera and Jennie Sandell and moved to Florida in 1980. Prior to moving to Florida, he served in the U.S. Army as a signalintelligence analyst. He went on to graduate from the University of Central Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a second degree in public ddministration. He retired after 30 years as a Florida probation and parole officer.
Seb loved all sports, but he especially loved baseball, bowling, fishing and golfing. His favorite pastime was playing card games with his family and putt-putt with his daughter.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Ellen Pischera; his daughter, Sebrina Pischera; mom, Helen Pischera; brother, Michael Pullan; sisters: Saralee Buck, Judith Slevin, Vicki Artelli, Angela McIntyre, Kelley Timmons, Corry Meridith and Marcy Greer; and many nieces and nephews.
