CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HARMONY — David H. Vanguilder, 43, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful possession of marijuana, and having none or in inadequate lights. Around 9:42 p.m. Sunday deputies pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Vanguilder. Subsequent investigation revealed that Vanguilder was allegedly driving while he was ability impaired by drugs. He was taken into custody and later released on appearance tickets. Vanguilder will appear in Harmony Town Court at a later date.

¯ KIANTONE — Meghan C. Goska, 26, of Warren, Pa. was charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, moving from a lane unsafely, and seventh-degree unlawful possession of a controlled substance. On April 12 around 8:39 p.m., deputies were called to Manchester Road in the town of Kiantone for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival the driver was identified as Goska. A subsequent investigation revealed that Goska was allegedly in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and a controlled substance. Goska was taken into custody and later released on appearance tickets.

¯ KIANTONE — Debraleen A. Reardon, 54, of Ashville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Around 3:41 p.m. on April 12, deputies pulled a vehicle over on Peck Settlement Road in the town of Kiantone for speeding. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Reardon. She was allegedly found to be in possesion of a quantity of methamphetamine. Reardon was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Town Court and will appear at a later date.

¯ ASHVILLE — Blaine M. Wescott, 25, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Deputies received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from Ashville. An investigation found that Wescott was in possession of the stolen motor vehicle, and he was taken into custody as a result. He was held at the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Prinston D. Blount, 30, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. Around 10:05 p.m. Monday, officers in the area of Winsor Street and Crescent Street observed a vehicle strike the curb. The strike resulted in the front passenger-side tire being broken off of the vehicle. Officers observed the tire go over the hood of the vehicle and go down the roadway. The operator of the vehicle allegedly continued to drive down Winsor Street with only three tires. After stopping the vehicle, officers identified the driver as Blount. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail for processing.
