CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BEMUS POINT — Timothy S. Smith, 38, of Bemus Point was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Smith allegedly struck an individual and damaged property on Friday at 6:14 a.m. Smith was taken into custody and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail where he was awaiting arraignment.

¯ Seth A Devore, 35, of Jamestown was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with an alcohol count of .08 percent or more, felony driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating out of restrictions. On Friday at 6:13 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle at East Second Street in the city of Jamestown for an alleged revoked license. The driver was identified as Devore and a subsequent investigation led him to be placed into custody. Devore was taken to the County Jail where he was held pending centralized arraignment.

¯ POMFRET — Tyrone L. Hall, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding at 55 mph and failure to stop at a stop sign. On Thursday around 9:23 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle at Van Buren Road in the town of Pomfret after they watched the driver commit an alleged traffic infraction. The driver was identified as Hall. Upon investigation, deputies found Hall to be in possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. Hall was taken into custody without incident. Hall was issued an appearance ticket for Pomfret town court and released.

¯ POMFRET — Quentin J. Lawton, 25, of Stockton was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Sunday around 2:26 a.m., deputies were called to the State Land boat launch off of Dale Drive for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies reported that a small amount of marijuana and metal knuckles were in plain view in the driver’s side door. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Lawton. A check of Lawton’s license revealed that his driving privileges had been suspended. Lawton was taken into custody and will appear in Pomfret town court at a later date.

¯ STOCKTON — Larimey A. Gilbert, 33 of Gerry was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, unlawful possession of marijuana, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and having no left side mirror. Around 3:56 p.m. on Sunday, deputies pulled a vehicle over for an alleged equipment violation. The driver was identified as Gilbert. Upon investigation, Gilbert was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, scales and a small amount of marijuana. She was also found to be operating a vehicle with a revoked license. Gilbert was released with appearance tickets for Stockton Town Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ David C. Hanley, 41, of 78 Water St., upper apartment, and Christina M. Estus, 41, of 78 Water St., upper apartment, were both charged following a domestic incident at 11:03 a.m. Monday. According to a police report, officers responded to a fight and found Estus and Hanley inside an apartment. Both allegedly injured the other during a physical altercation. Estus was charged with second-degree assault while Hanley was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Both were taken to Jamestown City Jail until they could be arraigned.
