JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Laval A. Johnson, 34, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated family offense and second-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded Saturday at 5:42 a.m. to East Seventh and Lincoln streets for a reported fight in the middle of the street. Upon arrival police found several people arguing near a vehicle. It was learned that Johnson had a valid order of protection to have no contact and stay away from a female in the vehicle. Johnson was taken to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ Matthew E. Ribbing, 42, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusal of prescreen. Ribbing was charged Saturday following an alleged incident in Jamestown. There was also a warrant for Ribbing for failure to pay child support issued by Chautauqua County Family Court. He was being held in jail and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date to answer the charges.
¯ SHERIDAN — Ashley J. Gambino, 27, of Sheridan was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded Sunday at 4:35 a.m. to Route 5 for a reported disorderly female. It was later found that Gambino allegedly damaged items inside a residence. She is scheduled to answer the charges in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.
¯ NORTH HARMONY — Keith J. Morgan, 36, of Ashville was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies were called Friday to a residence for a report of a physical altercation. It was later learned that Morgan allegedly interfered with the ability of another to call 911 and violation an active order of protection. He was being held in Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ Marcos Diaz-Burgos, 35, of Lorain, Ohio, was charged with DWI and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Troopers responded to the Ellery Overlook Rest Area on Friday at 12:30 p.m. for a reported suspicious male. Witnesses told police that Diaz-Burgos allegedly pulled into the rest area and urinated in the parking lot while exhibiting signs of being impaired. Diaz-Burgos allegedly failed several field sobriety tests and was taken to police barracks where he provided a breath sample of .09. He was also found to have two suspensions on his license. Diaz-Burgos was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for arraignment.
