LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ William J. Purdy, 52, of Randolph was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Police learned that on Nov. 9 someone had broke out a window to a residence. It was later determined that Purdy was allegedly responsible for the incident. The window was valued at $500, making the charge a felony. Purdy was issued an appearance ticket to be in court at a later date.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Shawn R. Conway, 40, of Ripley was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, operating without a license and unregistered motor vehicle. Officers stopped a vehicle Nov. 13 for an alleged unregistered motor vehicle. It was found that Conway’s license was suspended in addition to his vehicle being uninspected, unregistered and uninsured. Conway was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of Westfield. He was arraigned in Westfield Village Court and released. Conway is scheduled to appear back in court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ STOW — Todd Shad, 46, of Corry, Pa., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Shad was stopped Nov. 12 on Interstate 86 in Stow for a traffic violation. Troopers reported smelling marijuana coming from his vehicle, and a search turned up a bag containing marijuana. Shad was issued an appearance ticket to be in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.

¯ STOW — Ryan Nelson, 44, of Clymer was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Nelson was stopped Nov. 14 on Interstate 86 for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. While speaking to Nelson, troopers reported observing a switchblade knife inside his van. Nelson was processed and issued an appearance ticket to be in North Harmony Town Court later.

¯ GERRY — Natalie Russo, 25, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Russa was stopped Friday on Route 60 in Gerry for a traffic violation. Troopers reported smelling marijuana, and during a search a smoking device containing marijuana residue was located. Russo was issued an appearance ticket to be in Gerry Town Court next month.

¯ ELLICOTT — Sherell Tanner, 47, of Buffalo was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Saturday for a reported domestic incident in which Tanner was allegedly being verbally abusive while driving on Route 60. Tanner was stopped, and after failing several field sobriety tests, was taken into custody. She provided a breath sample of .13 percent. She was processed and issued tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later this month.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Larry Bentzoni, 60, of Jamestown was taken into custody Tuesday on two outstanding warrants for second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Bentzoni was transported to Jamestown City Jail and was waiting to be arraigned.
