¯ Misty Simko, 38, of Westfield was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies received a reported Aug. 15 of a larceny that took place in Westfield. An investigation found that Simko allegedly had stolen property from a location on Hardscrabble Road. Simko was issued an appearance ticket to be in Westfield Town Court at a later date.

¯ DUNKIRK — Patrick D. Casteel, 47, of Brocton was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment. Deputies said Casteel allegedly called Community Bank after hour and made threats toward the bank on Vineyard Drive. He was interviewed and issued appearance tickets to be in Dunkirk Town Court later this month.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

¯ LAKEWOOD — Ashley N. Gorton, 33, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. Officers were called at 3:24 p.m. on Tuesday to 318 E. Fairmount Ave. for a reported larceny in progress. It was found that Gorton had allegedly stolen $106.65 in merchandise from Old Navy and $515.75 in merchandise from Rue 21 in the Chautauqua Mall. She was also found in possession of a hyprodermic needle. Gorton was arraigned in Busti Town Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on bail.
