CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MINA — Christopher A. Schoen, 49, of North East, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speed in zone and unregistered motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 426 in Mina on Sunday at 12:03 a.m. for a speed violation. Schoen was later found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was released to appear in Mina Town Court at a later date.

¯ SHERMAN — William J. Hurlbut, 54, of Sherman was charged with third-degree assault. Deputies responded Friday at 11:27 p.m. to a reported physical altercation between two people on Route 430 in Sherman. Hurlbut was found to have struck another person in the face, causing injury. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Sherman Town Court.

¯ SHERIDAN — Bryan K. Sandreth, 24, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right. Deputies were called at 7:07 a.m. on Sunday for an injury rollover crash on Route 20 in Sheridan. Deputies learned Sandreth was westbound when he allegedly fell asleep while driving, crossed the eastbound lane and struck a telephone pole. The vehicle rolled several times. Sandreth was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. A passenger, 33-year-old Kenneth Walker of Jamestown, was transported to ECMC in Buffalo for injuries. ALSTAR EMS and Sheridan firefighters also responded to the scene.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Andrea R. Cinci-Wilson, 36, of Jamestown was charged with inadequate muffler/exhaust system, felony DWI, felony DWI per se, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without an interlock device. Officers on Saturday at 10:54 p.m. observed a vehicle on North Main Street with with loud/inadequate muffler. Following an investigation, Cinci-Wilson was later found to be intoxicated. A check of her license determined that it had been revoked due to a previous DWI conviction and had a restriction for an ignition interlock device, which was not present. Cinci-Wilson was being held pending arraignment.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ RANDOLPH — Ashley Senko, 30, of Mayville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana. Christopher Hewes, 27, of Ashville was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Hewes was stopped on Route 394 in Randolph Saturday for a traffic violation. A check of his license showed it had been suspended three times in the past. During a check of the vehicle, troopers found a bag containing 1 gram of heroin, four needles, a partial suboxone strip, a bag containing marijuana and a smoking device containing marijuana residue. The pair was transported to police barracks and processed. They were issued appearance tickets to be in Randolph Town Court at a later date.
