¯ Jordan T. Adams, 32, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, two counts of resisting arrest and two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At approximately 7:40 a.m., Jamestown police responded to a report of a domestic incident Friday at the corner of Winsor Street and Crescent Street between a male and female. It was reported the male had struck the female and had pinned her against a car near 17 Cross St. When officers arrived on scene, Adams began to flee on foot and ignored an officer’s commands to stop. The foot pursuit with officers lasted several city blocks. Adams was taken into custody after refusing to be handcuffed and struggling with officers. It was later discovered that Adams had a valid order of protection to stay away from the female involved in the original incident and was subsequently charged with criminal contempt. The aggravated family offense charge came from prior domestic incident-related convictions. Adams was transported to Jamestown City Jail without further incident where he is being held pending arraignment in city court.
¯ Wilfredo Castrillo, 42, of Jamestown, was charged Saturday with aggravated family offense, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, officers were dispatched at 7:28 a.m. to 222 E. Second St. for a reported domestic dispute. Updon arrival, officers learned that Castrillo allegedly had taken a pocket knife, cut the the cords to all electronics, and then ransacked the residence before fleeing the scene. Castrillo returned to the residence and was taken into custody. He is in city jail, and will be in city court later.
¯ DELEVAN — William P. Lechner, 23, of 59¢ N. Main St., Delevan was charged Friday with violation of probation. Deputies arrested Lechner on warrant and taken to Cattaraugus County Jail. He will be in county court later.
¯ SILVER CREEK — Shawn M. Wright, 28, of 13 Henry St., Silver Creek was charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies received a report of a 3-year-old child found walking unclothed, except for a jacket, on Main Street at 8:30 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found the child unclothed, except for a jacket, walking in 51-degree weather. Upon further investigation, it was found that the child had walked 2/10 of a mile from a residence on Henry Street before being found on Main Street. Deputies located Wright at home on Henry Street, and told deputies he was unaware of what had happened because he allegedly was sleeping. He will be in Silver Creek Village Court later.
