Area Police Reports


¯ Crystal Pollard, 39, of Jamestown was charged with unnecessary noise. Officers responded at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday to Fulton Street for a disorderly person. Officers found a woman on the sidewalk who was yelling, swearing and being disorderly. Pollard taken into custody for violating Jamestown City Code and transported to Jamestown City Jail. She was held pending arraignment.

¯ Michael B. Arnold, 40, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Arnold was observed walking by three Jamestown patrol cars at 11:37 a.m. on Sunday on South Main Street. Arnold was known to have two outstanding warrants and was taken into custody. He was found to be in possession with a small amount of methamphetamine and was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯ Greggory J. Brady, 22, of Frewsburg was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, following too closely and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Patrick O. Brady, 22, of Frewsburg was charged with unreasonable noise. Officers on patrol came across a two-car property damage crash at North Main and East Sixth streets at 2 p.m. on Sunday. As officers pulled up, Greggory Brady got out of his vehicle and refused to get back in after being told six times in an effort to allow police to investigate the crash. Patrick Brady, a passenger in the car, reportedly yelled vulgarities at the top of his lungs, then attempted to run once police were taking him into custody. Both were transported to Jamestown City Jail and held on cash bail.


¯ WESTFIELD — Kristen N. Tefft, 31, of Ripley was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unsafe lane change. Deputies, along with Westfield police, were called about an erratic driver Friday on Route 20. Following a stop, Tefft was allegedly found to be impaired by drugs. He was issued appearance tickets to be in Westfield Village Court at a later date.


¯ Devin M. Houghwot, 30, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, criminally possessing hypodermic needles and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Houghwot allegedly stole socks valued at $6.98 from Walmart on Monday at 1:35 p.m. He was previously trespassed from the store, making this theft a burglary. During a search of his vehicle, police reportedly found several hypodermic needles, two scales, 7.8 grams of marijuana and less than a gram of heroin. Houghwot was issued appearance tickets to be in court at a later date.
