LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Benjamin W. Johnson, 49, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and speed in zone. Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed Saturday at 10:38 p.m. on Wellman Road in the town of Busti. After an investigation, it was found Johnson was intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets to be in Busti Town Court at later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ OLEAN — William L. Moore III, 39, of Olean was taken into custody on felony sex offender charges for failure to change status within 10 days. Moore was arraigned in Cattaraugus County Family Court and held on $8,500 cash bail, $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Olean Town Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Shamori L. Houston, 37, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. While on patrol Wednesday at 11:26 a.m., officers reported hearing a woman yell for help. An investigation found Houston broke another person’s television during a domestic incident. Houston was charged as the TV reportedly cost more than $1,000.
¯ Robert A. Trenary, 24, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment Wednesday. At approximately 5:18 p.m., officers responded to 64 Broadhead Ave. for a domestic incident. It was found that Trenary pushed and struck a female victim. He was arrested and transported to Jamestown City Jail where he is held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court on a later date.
¯ Nathan A. Caylor, 27, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded to Newland Avenue Thursday around 4 a.m. for a domestic incident. Upon arrive, officers located a disorderly male identified as Caylor, and an investigation found that he allegedly damaged a TV that belonged to someone else. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was held pending arraignment in court.
¯ Leslie H. Heckathorn Jr., 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Heckathorn was observed outside a Lincoln Street home on Thursday and ran into an apartment when he observed officers approaching. Heckathorn was later found hiding from police in an attic crawl pace. He was taken into custody on unrelated warrants. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for court.
¯ YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. — A 29-year-old man and 30-year-old female, both of Youngsville, Pa., were both charged with harassment. Pennsylvania State Police were called after a male and female were involved in a disturbance in a car that turned physical on Monday in Brokenstraw Township, Pa.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ NORTH HARMONY — James E. Carutis, 38, of Erie, Pa., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies observed a vehicle on Tuesday commit a traffic violation on Route 394 in North Harmony. Following an investigation, Carutis was found to have driving privileges suspended and in possession of a controlled substance. Carutis is scheduled to appear in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.
