JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Theresa Marsh, 24, of Lakewood was charged with failure to keep right, driving while ability impaired by drugs and refusal to submit to a breath test. Officers responded at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday to East Second Street for a report of a three-car accident. Police learned a car driven by Marsh was westbound when she went across two lanes of traffic and struck two parked cars on the other side of the road. She was found to be impaired by drugs and was taken into custody. Marsh was held in city jail pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Michael L. Krause, 57, of Sherman was charged with aggrvated DWI with a blood-alcohol content .18 percent or higher, DWI and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday on Morris Road in the town of Chautauqua. Krause was found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated and was released with citations to be in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
¯ POMFRET — Daniel A. Gornikiewicz, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with DWI, DWI per se with a BAC of .08 percent or higher and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped Gornikiewicz at 2:47 a.m. on Sunday on Van Buren Road in the town of Pomfret for a traffic violation. Gornikiewicz was found to be intoxicated and issued citations to be in Pomfret Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
¯ POMFRET — Ellis Renfroe, 38, of Fredonia was charged with petit larceny. Deputies responded on July 14 to a home in Pomfret for a reported larceny. It was later found that Renfroe allegedly took property that did not belong to him from the home. He was taken into custody Friday and issued appearance tickets to be in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
