JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Joshua H. Cook, 28, of Kennedy was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Officers responded Tuesday at 3:41 p.m. to Peach Street for a report of people in a condemned building. Upon arrival, officers saw Cook exiting the building and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
¯ Matthew M Foster, 28, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Officers responded Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. for a physical domestic incident on Hopkins Avenue and spoke with a woman who said Foster pushed her and broke items inn front of a small child. Foster left the residence and was located a short time later. He was taken into custody and found to have a valid order of protection not to have offensive contact with the woman. He was held pending arraignment.
¯ Tiffany K. Gross, 43, of Sherman was charged with no/inadequate left-side mirror, no/inadequate tail lamp, felony driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without a court-ordered ignition interlock device. Officers were on patrol Wednesday at 11:41 p.m. near Allen and Scioto streets when they observed a vehicle with no side mirror and non-working tail lamps. Gross was identified as the driver and found to be intoxicated. A check of her criminal history allegedly found Gross’ driving privileges were revoked, was convicted of a DWI within the past 10 years and was operating without a court-ordered interlock device. Gross was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
¯ Timothy D. Snyder, 37, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle and multiple outstanding bench warrants. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1:55 a.m. Thursday for expired registration in the area of Harrison and Institute streets. Snyder was found to have multiple outstanding bench warrants, a revoked driver’s license and in violation of a stay away order. He was taken into custody and held on the felony charges.
¯ FALCONER — Steven Kotch, 45, of Sinclairville was charged with driving while intoxicated. Kotch was stopped Wednesday on Route 380 in Falconer for a traffic violation. He was taken into custody after reportedly failing several field sobriety tests. He was transported to police barracks and provided a breath sample of .14 percent. Kotch was processed and issued tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later this month.
