Area Police Reports


¯ FORESTVILLE — Matthew R. Greenough, 29, of Forestville was charged with aggravated family offense and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded to a King Road address Thursday at 3:16 p.m. for a report of a disorderly person. Greenough was found to have allegedly damaged property belonging to another person. He was arraigned in Hanover Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

¯ ARKWRIGHT — Shaina E. Love, 27, of Arkwright was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Deputies were called at 6:47 p.m. on June 28 for a dispute between two people on Griswold Road in Arkwright. Deputies spoke with a man who said Love allegedly slapped him in the face with children present. Love then allegedly stabbed a tire on his vehicle, causing it to go flat. Love was arraigned in Pomfret Town Court and remanded to jail on $2,000 cash bail, $4,000 property.

¯ Joshua D. Pelfrey, 29, of Brocton was taken into custody on a warrant for first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense and trespassing. Deputies stopped Pelfrey Thursday at 11:31 p.m. on Harvey Road. He was found to have multiple arrest warrants and was taken into custody. He was arraigned in Westfield Village Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Nicole C. Auge, 26, of Greenville, N.C., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se having a BAC .08 percent or higher and speed over limit. Deputies stopped Auge for a traffic violation at 2:19 a.m. on Thursday on Morris Road in the town of Chautauqua. An investigation determined Auge was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She was processed and released to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ IRVING — Jared M. Wagner, 22, of Newfane, N.Y., was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and false personation. Wagner was taken into custody Sunday during a detail on Sunset Bay Beach in Irving. Wagner was removed from the Sunset Bay Beach Club several times by private security and sheriff’s deputies. He was taken into custody after attempting to access the venue through a gated area. He refused to provide deputies with his information at the time. He was issued tickets to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

¯ STOCKTON — Lonnie B. Witcher Jr., 37, of Stockton was charged Saturday with unregistered motor vehicle, unlicensed operator, violation of interlock restriction and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. At 1:22 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 for having an expired registration. During the traffic stop, deputies discovered that the operator, Witcher, possessed a revoked non-driver ID only license. He had 30 scoffs on 16 dates with a total of 35 suspensions/revocations on his license. Witcher was placed in custody, arraigned in Stockton Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Danielle R. Blood, 34, of Randolph was charged Saturday with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Deputies checked a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business on S. Erie Street. Blood was identified as one of the occupants and was found to have an active probation warrant out of Cattaraugus County. After being taken into custody, it was discovered that Blood was in possession of multiple hypodermic instruments. She is being held at Chautauqua County Jail on pre-arraignment bail and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ RIPLEY — Jennifer L. Gruber, 46, of Ripley was charged Thursday with fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree unauthorized use of vehicle, third-degree identity theft and two counts of petit larceny. At 3:59 p.m., deputies responded to a complaint and found that Gruber took a vehicle from another person without permission and did not return it. Gruber also allegedly took debit cards and credit cards, used to obtain cash from the same person, without permission. Gruber was arraigned in Ripley Town Court. She is to return to court at a later date.

¯ FORESTVILLE — Shelly A. Brennan, 46, of Hanover was charged Friday with DWI, failure to keep right and refusal of breath screening test. At about 5:43 p.m. deputies stopped a vehicle on Prospect Street near Main Street for allegedly failing to keep right. After investigations, it was determined that the driver, Brennan, was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on pre-arraignment bail. She is to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
