JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jacquelyn C. Hayes, 26, of Jamestown was charged with being a fugitie from justice after she was pulled over at 2 a.m. Wednesday on East Sixth Street. According to a police report, Hayes had a valid bench warrant from Warren County for failure to appear on multiple charges. She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail untl she could be arraigned.

¯ Cretia A. Goldsmith, 56, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers on Tuesday at 8 p.m. responded to East Second Street for a possible violation of an order of protection. Goldsmith found inside the home and in violation of an order to stay away from the property. Goldsmith was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail to be arraigned.

¯ Ameir A. Glover, 42, of Jamestown was charged June 8 with criminal possession of a narcotic drug and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was pulled over on Buffalo Street in Olean. Troopers report smelling marijuana coming from Glover’s vehicle and proceeded with a probable cause search which allegedly yielded cocaine and marijuana. Glover was charged, arraigned in Olean City Court and taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Joseph M. Shafer, 42, of Silver Creek was charged with trespassing. Deputies responded Thursday at 2 a.m. to the Village Inn in Silver Creek for an unwanted male. Deputies spoke to Shafer, who was advised to leave the bar but refused. Shafer was issued an appearance ticket to be in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.
