ELLICOTT — Three Jamestown residents were charged after marijuana and cocaine were found following a traffic stop in the town of Ellicott.
Police stopped a car around 1:45 a.m. in the area of Fairmount and Howard avenues after observing the driver commit several traffic violations. All three in the car — 24-year-old Tyler R. Lebarron, 19-year-old Katlyn E. Michael and 20-year-old Alanna K. Linkous — were found in possession of marijuana, Ellicott police said Wednesday in a press release.
Following an investigation, police discovered Lebarron was also in possession of cocaine and was driving on a revoked driver’s license.
Lebarron was taken into custody and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
Linkous and Michael were each charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. They were issued appearance tickets to answer the charges in court at a later date.
