JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jessica R. Lamper, 31, of Warren, Pa., was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and being a fugitive from justice. Police on Friday responded to Best Western on West Third Street for a reported wanted person. Police determined Lamper was wanted in Warren. While contacting Lamper, she allegedly disobeyed several commands by officers. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.

¯ Kevin Houser, 49, of St. Louis, Mo., was charged Saturday with passing a red signal, DWI and DWI per se following a traffic stop. He was taken into custody and transported to the city jail and is being held in lieu of bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Damian C.L. Rosado, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police responded around 1:15 p.m. Friday to Walmart on Fairmount Avenue for a reported shoplifting complaint. Rosado damaged and attempted to leave without paying for several items. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

¯ Madani Ba Jr., 18, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly attempting to steal clothing from the Lakewood Walmart. Ba was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ Kevin Ropes, 55, of Rocky River, Ohio, was charged Saturday with snowmobiling while intoxicated and SWI per se. Deputies observed a tipped snowmobile on trail No. 4 in the Village of Mayville around 2:30 a.m. Investigation revealed the driver, Ropes, was intoxicated. He was released and will appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

¯ Kevin Schunk, 27, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment following an altercation in the Village of Silver Creek. Schunk allegedly punched the victim in the head with a closed fist. He was issued an appearance ticket for the Village of Silver Creek Court.

¯ Johnathan Whitney, 39, of Clymer faces a handful of charges following a traffic stop Saturday. Deputies reportedly stopped a vehicle on Route 474 in the Town of French Creek after an observed traffic infraction. The driver, Whitney, was found to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state with three children under the age of 15 in the vehicle. He was charged with felony DWI Leandra’s Law, DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of French Creek Court at a later date.
