Carroll Police Seek Help After Hit-And-Run Leaves Woman Injured

CARROLL — The Carroll Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a car-pedestrian crash left one woman with serious injuries.

Police and Frewsburg firefighters were summoned after the woman was found injured late Saturday on Warren Road in the town of Carroll. At the time of the incident, police were told the woman may have been struck by a vehicle.

A relative of the woman as well as one of her neighbors said the woman was the victim of a hit-and-run and sustained serious injuries. The relative, who wished not to be identified, said the woman was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., where she remained as of Wednesday.

A member of the Frewsburg Fire Department referred questions regarding the severity of the woman’s injuries to Carroll police. Several attempts to reach the police department for further comment were unsuccessful this week.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Carroll police at 569-5365.
