JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Frank J. Bindics Sr., 41, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harrassment. At 4:24 p.m., officers responded to 51 Glasgow Ave. for a past tense domestic incident that occurred at 54 McKinley Ave. After investigation it was found that Bindics had threatened to kill a victim and damaged some property at the victim’s residence. Further investigation found that Bindics was in direct violation of a Jamestown City Court-ordered stay away order of protection for him to stay away from the victim.
¯ Kyle R. Sharp, 71, of Jamestown was charged with no/inadequate headlights, no/inadequate tail lights, refusal of a pre-screen test and driving while intoxicated at 11:56 p.m. Thursday after he was pulled over on East Second and Phillips streets. Officers said they saw a vehicle being driven with no headlights or tail lights in operation. Sharp was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Jessica S. Corll, 29, of Mayville was charged Thursday with petit larceny after it is alleged that she stole clothing, food and other merchandise totaling $57.98 from Wal-Mart. Corll was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ IRVING — Michael R. Jamison, 49, of Irving, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Deputies responded Thursday around 8:30 p.m. to an address in Irving for a report of an altercation. While attempting to speak with Jamison, he pushed passed deputies and went into a residence. He allegedly became disorderly with another person inside and later resisted arrested. Jamison was taken into custody, arraigned in Hanover Town Court and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
¯ SHERIDAN — A 16-year-old Sheridan man was charged with two counts of sexual misconduct. Deputies conducted an investigation into a report of suspected abuse against another individual on two different dates in December. The 16-year-old was issued appearance tickets to appear in court at a later date.
¯ SHERMAN — Emilee A. Carlson, 24, of Sherman, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after an alleged incident at her residence. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
