Corrections Officer Charged With Official Misconduct
BROCTON — A state corrections officer is facing charges for allegedly having a personal relationship while employed at the Lakeview Shock Incarceration Facility in Brocton, a state investigation revealed.
New York State Police at Fredonia charged Matthew A. Antolini, 38, of Arkwright, with two counts of official misconduct. Antolini was taken into custody Monday and issued an appearance ticket to be in Arkwright Town Court at a later date.
Lakeview Shock Incarceration Facility is a state-run minimum security prison for men and women that provides alcohol/substance abuse treatment for non-violent offenders. The boot-camp style facility can house more than 600 inmates that also provides vocational studies.
Several calls to the facility were not answered Tuesday. Capt. Eric Balon of the state police said no further information regarding the type of relationship and with whom it occurred could be released.
The investigation involved members from the New York State Police and New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations.
