City Woman Found With Meth, 5 Kids In Friday Raid
A Jamestown woman is facing a host of charges after police and SWAT team members discoverd methamphetamine, soboxone, several needles along with her five children during a search Friday afternoon.
Amanda L. Penhollow, 31, was charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, fifth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, city SWAT team and Jamestown police executed a search warrant at 154 Falconer St. around 4:15 p.m.
Penhollow was found inside the residence, along with her children, all of whom were under the age of 8, Jamestown police said Friday in a press release.
In addition to the methamphetamine and suboxone, officers also reportedly found drug paraphernalia used to “sell and distribute narcotics,” police said.
Penhollow was taken into custody and held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court. No further information was made available by police late Friday.
